Creative Learning is…
Moving
Jumping, bending, reaching, moving… Even when the weather is too cold for us to go outside, we make sure to incorporate extra gross motor time into our day.Super Tots had a blast with balloons during Music and Movement!
Recalling
After listening to the story of The Mitten, Juniors took turns acting out the story for their classmates. They did a great job of recalling the order of events and even some of the details about how their characters acted or moved. We pretended a big, white sheet was the mitten and there were lots of giggles as the animals all squeezed inside!
Matching
Plastic letters hidden in sensory material make for a fun letter matching activity. This Senior looks at the choices very carefully to decern whether or not he’s found a match!
Imagining
Super 5’s designed their own surfboards and then tried them out on their pretend trip to Hawaii. The teachers helped set the scene, but the power of these Super 5s’ imaginations shows on their faces as they strive to keep their balance on the killer waves!
